Strategic Marketer: From Confusion to Operational Roadmap in 3 Weeks

Measured Result

6 months → 3 weeks

Direction clarification time

The Problem

A solo entrepreneur with 8 years of strategic marketing experience, with their own SRL and client portfolio, stuck for 6 months between 4 possible business directions: (1) boutique brand strategy agency, (2) high-ticket freelance for corporate CMOs, (3) online education and marketing courses, (4) employment in a VP Marketing role. Each direction seemed good. None became a decision. They were losing concrete opportunities while waiting for clarity.

The Intervention

Through the Decision Core process we identified that the blockage was generated by an unspoken internal conflict: the entrepreneur confused 'the most profitable business direction' with 'the direction that represents them identitarily.' The four options were evaluated with different criteria, never explicitly defined. Working on decision clarity (not on business choice) produced a clear set of prioritization criteria in the first 2 sessions.

The Result

At 3 weeks: decision for the high-ticket freelance direction for corporate CMOs, with a 90-day operational roadmap. First new client from the new direction contracted in week 5 after the decision. The other three options didn't disappear – they were classified as 'possible in the future, after this direction is stable'.
