National General Manager: Recalibrating Authority and Restructuring Team Relationships

Measured Result

Structural recalibration

Integrated authority + team cohesion

The Problem

As general manager of a nationally-distributed dairy products company, Nicolae felt his authority was formal, not real. The team executed instructions but hadn't internalized the direction. Relationships with subordinates and employees operated on old implicit contracts – not on a deliberate framework aligned with his values as a leader. Time management was driven by external urgencies, not by a clear personal and professional direction.

The Intervention

The work targeted three simultaneous planes: (1) identifying and articulating top personal values as the foundation for leadership decisions; (2) recalibrating how to contract relationships with the team – not through new rules, but through clarity of intention and assumed authority; (3) rebuilding a time management based on personal and professional direction, not reactivity to urgencies.

The Result

Nicolae integrated authority at a new level of awareness: not as a formal role, but as an expression of assumed personal values. The relationship with subordinates and employees was recalibrated from a clearer framework, not a more authoritarian one. Time management was rebuilt on personal and professional direction skills – not on the external agenda. The team felt the change before Nicolae verbalized it explicitly.
